One of the clearest presentations of the path to Enlightenment is a short poem called The Three Principal Aspects of the Path, composed 600 years ago by Je Tsongkhapa, Spiritual Guide and founder of the New Kadampa lineage.

In just 15 verses, Je Tsongkhapa distils the vastness of the Buddhist path into three essential realizations, or experiential understandings – namely, renunciation, bodhichitta, and the wisdom realizing emptiness.

By steadily growing our experience of these three, we will gain the tools and confidence to imbue every aspect of our lives with deep spiritual meaning and joy.

Gen Suma will guide us step by step in the development of each of these three understandings, based on Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s commentary in his final book, The Mirror of Dharma (with Additions).
