Is attaining happiness really all that complicated?

Does ‘success’ actually depend upon how we look, what we wear or own, the position we hold, or what someone else thinks about us?

In reality none of these things – nor all together – can guarantee the happiness we seek, so chasing after them with this hope is a fool’s errand, and a sure way to frustration, disappointment and even cynicism.

Buddha teaches how to cultivate simple attitudes of mind that will make us genuinely happy.

In each class we will explore, through teachings and guided meditations, how we can nurture a set of mental habits that fend off negativity and bring lightness of heart and mind.

Problems arise only if we respond to difficulties with a negative state of mind.

Therefore, if we want to be free from problems, we must transform our mind.
