Meditation for Kids introduces basic Buddhist teachings, such as the importance of loving everyone, and the joys of practicing gratitude and generosity. We learn what to do when we get angry, and how to create inner peace. Classes typically include a short talk and meditation, followed by a fun activity related to the topic.
Children of all faiths (or none) are welcome. Generally, children between the ages of 5 and 10 attend, so if your child is under 5, we ask that a parent stay with the child during class. Snacks are provided.
