Meditations for our Times

Sundays, 10:00-11:00 am

Gen Kelsang Suma will teach and guide us in a series of meditations that can be practiced by anyone. These meditations can help us improve our inner peace and mental clarity, and deepen our love and compassion for others. We will conclude with special prayers. Prayers are neither small nor passive actions, but a healing force in our shared world.

The Medicine of Mindfulness

Healing the Heart in a Troubled World

Thursdays, 7:00-8:00 pm

For centuries, Buddhist practitioners have regarded mindfulness training and meditation as being foundational to a happy and fulfilling life. These are skills we need to cultivate intentionally, and then practice not simply on the cushion, but routinely as we go about our daily life.

Chanted Prayers

“In general, prayers made by an assembly of many practitioners are very powerful and cannot be compared to the prayers of one or two people. The scriptures give the analogy of a broom. If we try to clean a floor with a few bristles we shall make little progress, but if we gather many bristles to make a broom we shall be successful.”  Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
