Pujas (chanted prayers) are an important element of our spiritual training. Practiced sincerely, they quieten our mind and help us to connect with enlightened beings in order to receive deep blessings. Below is the list of regular pujas we practice at Jampa Ling Kadampa Buddhist Centre. Please check the online calendar for the exact time of the puja. All pujas are free of charge and everybody is welcome.
“Chanting is very helpful for us. It helps us develop a happy mind of appreciation and faith.” Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

This practice is the heart essence of Kadampa Buddhism. In the first part we visualize our Spiritual Guide as Je Tsongkhapa and make prayers and requests to purify negativity, accumulate positive energy and receive blessings. This prepares our mind for a 20-minute meditation on one of the 21 Stages of the Path to Enlightenment or Lamrim. After the meditation we make prayers to our Dharma Protector, Dorje Shugden. We make requests to overcome all inner and outer obstacles to our Dharma practice, and for the creation of favourable conditions that nurture and increase our Dharma realizations.
The video is prerecorded and includes a one minute pause at the beginning and time for silent meditation in the middle. Enjoy!
