Join us for our 2nd Annual Walk for Peace!
This year we will be strolling through some of Barrie’s most beautiful countryside to raise money for Jampa Ling Kadampa Buddhist Centre.
It would be wonderful if you could join us on our walk and ask your friends and family to sponsor you.
It’s going to be a great day, with two walks to choose from: a longer one (a few km) for those who want to ‘get out there and do it’, and a shorter loop for those who’d prefer something a little more leisurely.
How do I sign up to walk?
When you have registered by clicking on the Register button below, we set up a personal sponsor page for you and send you an email with the link to this page. If you have chosen to include the T-shirt, we will arrange with you to receive it.
You may then send this page to your family & friends and they have the opportunity to sponsor you with any amount they choose.
You can make your personal sponsor page more personal by taking a selfie of you in your T-shirt and sending it to us if you wish.
We will send you an email with more details about the walk nearer to the event.
How do I sponsor someone?
Sponsoring someone who is walking is easy.
Click on the Sponsor someone button below and choose one of the walkers from the list to sponsor
What if I just want to donate without sponsoring anyone?
You can click on the Donate to the Walk for Peace button below to make a donation.
