This series of classes will introduce some basic tenets of Buddhist thought, such as understanding the mind, rebirth, karma and inner refuge. Meditation will be explored in every class, and the overall emphasis of the course will be on the practical application of Buddhist ideas – in other words, learning how Buddha’s teachings can guide us happily through daily life and enable us to solve whatever  difficulties may arise with a peaceful heart.
