Note: this retreat is best suited for those with some previous experience of Buddha’s teachings.
On this weekend retreat we’ll have the opportunity to to recite the mantra of the Wisdom Buddha, Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka, following the oral instructions passed to us by our General Spiritual Director at the 2022 Spring Festival in Spain.
Describing the power of this mantra, Gen-la Dekyong explained how when we recite it with sincere faith, a pure motivation, and strong conviction in the law of cause and effect, we are placing strong potentials within our mind to attain all our spiritual goals and aspirations.
In the words of Venerable Geshe-la, “This is magical”.
There is no better offering we can make to our Guru, in return for the extraordinary kindness we have received from him.
