Exploring Addictive Tendencies
Nov 12, 19, 26, Dec 3
We all have habits we want to break. Some of our habits that initially seem harmless can grow out of control and end up destroying our health, happiness and relationships. In this course we will explore the inner causes of our bad habits, and learn how we can gradually overcome addictive tendencies by using spiritual practices such as mindfulness, meditation, positive determinations and prayer.
Gratitude: A thankful heart is a happy heart
Dec 6, 13, 20
One of the easiest ways to feel happy is to cultivate gratitude. When we call to mind the countless ways in which our physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing depends upon others, we’re filled with appreciation for the “web of kindness” that links and encompasses all living beings. And when we feel grateful, it gives us a sense of joy and connection with others. Enhance the meaning and enjoyment of this holiday season by increasing your awareness of, and gratitude for, the continuing and indispensable kindness of others in your life.
