How to Beat Anxiety and Depression

A re-broadcast of a talk with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab, National Spiritual Director for Canada.

Saturday,March 13, 10:00 – 11:30 am

cost: $12 (free for members)

Many people today feel lost, even broken, with life seeming to have no meaning. Worry, anxiety, despair and depression consume both energy and relationships. However, the teachings of Buddha offer ancient wisdom and practical compassion which, if actively put into our lives, can utterly transform our world bringing hope, purpose, light and meaning where previously there was only misery and darkness. This talk will explain how it is possible for us to transform our mind from its present confused and self-centred state into perfect wisdom and compassion and thereby fulfil our deepest wishes for a happy life. Everybody is welcome!

Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada and the NKT National Spiritual Director for Canada. A retired General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition (NKT-IKBU), he has trained closely with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over thirty-five years and holds the lineages of his blessings in his heart.
